I'm betting all records were broken clean by this massive GANK !

WE the the PAYING clients could not be happier with the "event" .
as we can see by this forum , were ALL THRILLED by the "event".
and from CCP we hear .... ( crickets chirping) .... |

well I mentor a few newbies, 8 or 9 , help them get started, show'em the ropes, they REALLY wanted to take part in the event even if it meant losing a ship and getting podded, but whaddayaknow... it was fun explaining to them that YES.. CCP did leave over 700 people hanging on a gate with no further word on the event.
now try and explain that ...

yeah I saw that post, the misunderstanding seems to be that WE thought we would be going to a LIVE EVENT ORGANIZED BY CCP .. instead.. it was a MASSIVE GANK.
and even then more then half of the players were left behind |

DUDE.. we HAD a fleet, and well organized.
the Only thing that failed on my fleet and some 700 other people (764 ) was that we were ABANDONED on a gate, after some 2 hours of random space travel at sometimes 18 % TiDi
besides that, No DESTINATION was given , and loads of newbies started jumping into NULL camped gates
howzzthat for a mess?

Sadly hundreds of noobs went to their doom without the least idea about PvP and Null and thinking that CCP was ORGANIZING an "EVENT"
CCP should reimburse them ALL !
